Every Guardian home is built once — for one family, on one piece of land, by people who will know its bones a decade after the keys change hands. That's the standard. It hasn't changed since the first house we put up in 2007, and it isn't going to.

We don't run a template catalog. We don't trade craftsmanship for volume. We build a small number of custom homes each year for clients who want something specific to them, and we build them with the same crew, the same subs, and the same level of attention from the first lot walk to the final warranty inspection.

What we believe

The work shows up in the details no one sees.

Framing tolerances. Flashing details. How a window flange laps onto weather barrier. The way a wall is insulated where two trades hand off. The home a Guardian client lives in is the visible portion. The reason it lasts is the invisible portion — and that's where the work goes.

Transparency isn't a marketing word.

Most Guardian builds are cost-plus. You see the actual invoices from every sub and supplier, every draw, every change order. The build process is open by default — Buildertrend portal access, weekly site walks, a build chat thread where the field team and your family talk in real time.

Slow enough to do it right.

Twelve to fourteen months is typical for a Guardian custom build. That's not because we're slow — it's because we're not racing to next week's framing pour at the expense of this week's mechanical rough-in. The timeline is honest before you sign and stays honest after.
